Lanji

Lanji is a tehsil in Balaghat district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.[1] Lanji is approximately 62 km from Balaghat. Buses reach Lanji from Balaghat. It is connected with Chhattisgarh border and Maharashtra border, surrounded by deep forests. Koteshwar temple (Lord Shiva temple) is situated in Lanji. Gangli-raja, a site built by the Gondwana Kingdom, is also located here. Lanji Fort is there. Naxalites have operated in the area.[2]
