Laki Ghundaki is a village of Karak District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Laki Ghundak is located amidst Karak City and the populous town of Mitha Khel. It is 5 km from Karak city. This village is in the most lush area as seen from google earth to have vast strips of green fields. The reason for this is its location between two rainfed big streams that when flowing bring a huge amount of silt along. The accumulation of this silt has made this area rich in its viridity and one of the few places with reliable underground water resources. The Indus Highway betwixt this upland with linear plantations on either sides and the swaying meadows have indeed augmented its beauty. People here practice the indigenous way of subsistence farming with excellent amounts gotten from working on others fields. Most of the youth are in the armed forces or military. famous personalities are professor dr mushtaq khattak renowned maxillofacial surgeon, dr wazir shadan famous pashto poet. Lieutenant gul shahid khan ( khati khan) got sitara jurat in 1971 war. important families are yousaf khel, merza khel, lakki, garrori and gulshan abad. EDUCATION :- many well known personalities like maxillofacial surgeon Dr mushtaq khattak, prof engr dr asif, prof qaidurahman, prof naseer, prof shadan, prof saifullah, engr yasin, engr qasim, and many more. Female education is much better. district hospital karak, female degree college are there in lakki ghundaki.
