The Lahu Democratic Union (Burmese: လားဟူဒီမိုကရက်တစ်အစည်းအရုံး; abbreviated LDU) is a Lahu opposition group in Myanmar (Burma). It operates an armed wing, which signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) with the government on 13 February 2018.[1][2][3] The LDU is also part of the United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC) and its military coalition, the Federal Union Army (FUA).[4]
