Ladies Doctor is a 1996 Telugu comedy film, produced by B. Vanaja and C. Kalyan under the Sri Ammulya Art Productions banner and directed by Ramu. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Vineetha, Keerthana in the lead roles and music composed by Vidyasagar.[2] The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[3]
Plot
Dr. Ram Prasad (Rajendra Prasad) is a doctor who sits idle without any practice, he falls in love with a beautiful girl Rani (Keerthana) and they get ready for marriage. Janaki (Vineetha) is an Orthodox woman who follows yesteryear customs and traditions, she has some fixed rules that no male should touch her, except father and brother and the third one is her fiancé. Once she suffers from severe appendicitis, since she is in serious condition and there is no lady doctor to operate, Ram Prasad performs surgery in a lady doctor get-up, but he has been caught after the surgery. Now Janaki decides Ram Prasad is her husband. Janaki's brother Ramadasu (K. Ashok Kumar) is a big goon, he threatens Ram Prasad to say I Love You to Janaki, due to his fear Ram Prasad imparts to her. Now Ram Prasad got stuck between both. The rest of the story is whether he comes out of this problem and whom he is going to marry.
