Kurtis Conner is a Canadian± comedian and internet personality based in Toronto, Ontario[1]. He became best known for his popularity on Vine.

Biography

Kurtis Conner, son of Kelly Reise, was born on May 4, 1994 in Whitby, Ontario.[2] Now living in Toronto, Conner is pursuing his dreams of becoming a comedian. He stated in July 2015 on his tumblr page, he first realized he wanted to be a comedian at the age of 19.[3] Kurtis performs stand up comedy, and once performed at the ONEXONE TIFF fundraising event.[4] The comedy viner also hosted a "Hey event" at Comedy Bar in Toronto on April 29, 2015.[5] One of Conner's most notable accomplishments was graduating from Humber College Comedy: Writing and Performance in 2015[6]. Conner is featured in Local Wolves Magazine in issue 20.[7]

Vine

With over 250,000 followers and close to 250,000,000 loops, Kurtis Conner's vine account is another notable accomplishment. His most popular Vine was made in June 2014, where his vine acquired over 100,000 likes and over 60,000 "revines".

Career

Kurtis found great success on the internet, and was able to leverage his success into releasing the #1 comedy album, "Cuppla Jokes". He is now regularly making videos and continuing his stand-up comedy career.

The 'Bonnie & Clyde' type video for Hamilton, Ontario based artists, The Bandicoots' "Could You Get Me to Tomorrow?" features Kurtis and his girlfriend, Jenna starring as the two fugitives.

Discography

Kurtis' debut comedy album, Cuppla Jokes, was released on 2 September 2016 and debuted at #6 on Billboard's comedy albums chart for the week ending September 24, 2016. [8] [9]
