Krosno [ˈkrɔsnɔ] (German: Krossen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Orneta, within Lidzbark County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Orneta, 27 km (17 mi) west of Lidzbark Warmiński, and 45 km (28 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 380.
