The Kozhukhovskaya line (Russian: Кожуховская линия, IPA: [kɐˈʐuxəfskəjə ˈlʲinʲɪjə]) is a rapid transit line of the Moscow Metro that is under construction with a planned opening in 2018. The city plans to put four stations into service by the end of 2018 and the remainder in 2019.[2] City officials expect it to relieve passenger traffic on the Tagansko–Krasnopresnenskaya line once it is completed.

The line would open together with a separate stretch of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line from Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa to Aviamotornaya, with through service between them. After the completion of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line, service on the Kozhukhovskaya line will be cut back to Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa, with a cross-platform interchange to the other line.[3]

The name, Kozhukhovskaya, is a working name for the line. One concern about the name, which comes from a small village in the region, is that there is already a Kozhukhovskaya station on the Lyublinsko–Dmitrovskaya line that got its name from a different village with the same name. Therefore there is the possibility of some confusion.[4]

The city opened a vote via its “Active Citizen" portal to rename the line to the Nekrasovskaya line.[5] The respondents voted in favor with 73.4% supporting the name change.[6] While the vote is not binding, a similar poll resulted in a name change for the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line.[7]
