It was for a long time known as the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi, and since the 2011 destruction of Old Blenheim Bridge in New York State, which had approximately the same length, is undisputed as the longest in the U.S.

The bridge is 330 feet (100 m) in length.[5]

It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey and by Historic American Engineering Record and it is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also listed on the National Register as a contributing structure in the Knight's Ferry historic district.

NRIS database version 2013a includes as type="DR". What is "DR", and is that an error? Update at wp:NRIS info issues CA.
