Kidz Bop 16 is the 16th edition to the Kidz Bop series, and was released on August 4, 2009.[2] It is the first installment to have an official group (see "Kidz Bop Kids" below), This is also the first time there has been an original Kidz Bop Song, this album only features 16 songs breaking from the traditional 18. This also the first album to only be sung by kids. The album reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.[3]
