Khizri is a village/hamlet located in Chhachhrauli tehsil of Yamunanagar district in Haryana, India. It is 22 kilometres (14 mi) from the sub-district headquarters at Chhachhrauli and 32 kilometres (20 mi) from the district headquarters at Yamunanagar. It is 106.3 kilometers south-east of Chandigarh and 217 kilometers North of Delhi. According to 2009 statistics , Khizri is a gram panchayat of Khizri village. Population is 2,317 .
Khizri village was founded by Akram Khan’s great-great Grandfather . Family still dominates the village economically and politically .

The geographical area of village is 795 hectares (1,960 acres). Khizri has a total population of 2,317, spread among about 397 houses. Jagadhri is the nearest town. Khizri has hills to the North and North-east side .
Kalesar National Park is few minutes drive and Animals can be often seen in this Village.

Khizri has 3 distinct seasons -
1• Summers - From second week of April to last week of June . (3 Months) They are dry and hot , blows from West direction atleast for 10 days during the duration . Average Rainfall is 20mm in summers .
2• Winters - From Second week of October to last week of March - (5 Months) . They are cold and partially dry . Fog is not common due to close proximity to Sivalik Hills. Skies are sunny during the day but frost occurs during the night . Temperatures often fall near to freezing point in December and January . Winter rains help in Agriculture of Wheat . Average Rainfall is 65mm
3• Monsoon - Monsoon knocks the door in last week of June till first week of October . It rains heavily in these months . Rainfall is heavy because of orographic rain (Sivalik Hills) . Flash floods are also common . Average Rainfall is 900 mm .
