Khimel is a village situated between Rani and Falna rail station in Pali District of Rajasthan state in India. In this village has a small railway station.

Khimel is divided into two parts: the village and dhani; most of people from there are shifted out of Rajasthan for their business. This region is called Gorwar and the language which is spoken by people is Marwari. Khimel is also a railway station where only local trains take a halt.

According to Census 2001, Khimel has a population of 4,421, where male are 1,851 and female are 2,570.

Literacy is lower than the Indian average, with around 50% male literacy and around 40% female literacy. but now literacy is 90% male and 80% female. A woman college is situated in the khimeel.

Places of interest

Jain Temple

The Jain Temple is one of the major attraction of Khimel. This temple was built in 1077(1134 V.S.). The Moolnayak of this temple is a white-coloured 75-cm tall statue of Shantinatha in Padmasan posture. It is said that this idol was established by Achary Shri Hemsurishwarji.[1]
