Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan is an Azad Kashmiri politician, who is the President of an Azad Kashmiri political party Jammu Kashmir Peoples Party.[1] He is the son of Azad Kashmir's founder, Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan.[2] He belong to an elite Sudhan family.
Career
He is the President of a Kashmiri political party Jammu Kashmir Peoples Party. He is the son of Azad Kashmir's 'founder', Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan. Sardar Khalid Ibrahim was born in Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir to an elite Sudhan family. He resigned from the Legislative Assembly of Azad Kashmir on two occasions. After his recent resignation, on 8 January 2009, he stated that,
“I have voted in favor of the no-trust motion, but the new set-up has come into being with the help of those who describe Kashmiri militants as terrorists and say that India was never a threat to Pakistan. The new set-up has made a greater compromise on the Kashmir issue than the one that has been sent packing and I announce my resignation from the assembly”.
