Kevin Frankish (born March 4, 1964) is a Toronto-area media personality. For 27

years, he co-hosted Breakfast Television Toronto, most recently alongside Dina Pugliese, on Citytv Toronto.

Frankish is from North Bay, son of Allan (1928-2015) and Vivianne Frankish, as well as brother to Clifford and Sandra.[1]

After getting a diploma in radio and television broadcasting at Canadore College, he started his career at CKNY in North Bay. He also had a nine-year stint at The New VR (now CTV Two) in Barrie, Ontario. At CKVR, he began a practice of ending every broadcast with a wink, his way of saying "hi" to his wife Beth; this continues until present day.[2]

He then moved to Citytv in 1991.

After suffering a panic attack on the air in 2006, Frankish publicly discussed his panic attacks with viewers.[3] He also talked about it on CFRB's The Motts, hosted by Paul and Carol Mott, on September 13, 2006.

On May 29, 2018, Kevin Frankish had announced on Breakfast Television Toronto that after 27 years on the air, he would be leaving Breakfast Television Toronto on June 1, 2018. [4] However, Frankish also announced that he will stay with Citytv Toronto to continue working on documentaries and special projects. [5]
