Route description
KY 450 begins at an intersection with KY 348 (Oaks Road) northwest of Symsonia, within the northeastern part of Graves County. It travels in a nearly due north direction and enters McCracken County.[1] It curves to the north-northeast and intersects the eastern terminus of KY 1255 (Bonds Road). The highway begins a curve to the north-northwest and crosses over Camp Creek. It curves to the north-northeast and crosses over the Blizzard Ponds Drainage Canal. It curves to the northwest and begins paralleling the Clarks River. It curves to the north-northeast and enters Sheehan Bridge, where it intersects KY 3075 (Lydon Road / Sheehan Bridge Road). KY 450 curves to the north-northwest and travels under an overpass that carries Interstate 24 (I-24). It then curves back to the north-northeast and then to the northwest. It enters Woodlawn-Oakdale. It heads to the north-northwest and then to the north-northeast. The highway curves to the west-northwest and intersects KY 1954 (John L. Puryear Drive). It then curves to the northeast and meets its northern terminus, an intersection with KY 284 (Benton Road). Here, the roadway continues as Kentucky Street.[2]
