Kenneth Kiyul Lee is a partner at Jenner & Block and a nominee to be a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Early life and career

Lee earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Cornell University, and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School. After graduating from law school, Lee served as a law clerk to Judge Emilio M. Garza of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Lee then worked as an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and was an Associate White House Counsel to George W. Bush. After leaving government service, Lee joined Jenner & Block, where he is currently a partner.[1]

Nomination to court of appeals

On October 10, 2018, President Trump announced his intent to nominate Lee to serve as a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.[1]
