Katrina Weidman

Katrina Weidman (born March 2, 1983) is an American paranormal investigator who initially rose to public notice for her work with the Paranormal Research Society (PRS), whose investigations were the subject of the A&E series Paranormal State.

Biography

Weidman was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.[1] According to Weidman, the home she lived in from birth to age six was plagued with unexplained activity, which influenced her interest in the paranormal.[2][3]

Career

Weidman attended Pennsylvania State University, where she joined the Paranormal Research Society (PRS), whose investigations were the basis of the A&E series Paranormal State. Weidman worked as the PRS's case manager between 2006 and 2011.[4]

In 2016, Weidman began appearing with Nick Groff on the Destination America series Paranormal Lockdown, in which the duo spend 72 hours inside various haunted locations.[5]
