Karthik Kodakandla[1][2][3] is an Indian music director, singer and composer in the Indian film industry.[4][5]

Biography

Kodakandla started his career as a software developer in Infosys, before changing career to become a film music composer, beginning with Telugu short films. In 2012, he scored for his first short film Anukokunda starring Ritu Varma and Kireeti Damaraju which was nominated for the Cannes film festival. He followed this with short films such as Why Not a Girl, and 1973 which was nominated for national and international film festivals.

He has gone on to compose nearly three hundred songs, including scoring for eight feature films, twenty short films and two web-series. He has worked in short films and independent films from 2013 to the present in English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and other languages.[6][7]

In 2018, he composed the music for Telugu films Ameerpet 2 America and Ugadi.
