Karimnagar Municipal Corporation |
The Karimnagar Municipal Corporation is the local governing body, administering the city of Karimnagar in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the fourth most populous with a population of 261,185.[3] The municipal corporation is headed by a mayor and democratically elected members.
History
The Municipality status given to Karimnagar in 1987. Then it was upgraded as Karimngar Municipal Corporation on 5 March 2005 vide GONo:109.
