Kanavan Manaivi (தமிழ்: கணவன் மனைவி, English: Husband and Wife) is a 1976 Tamil Social Drama film was directed by A. Bhimsingh and produced by A. S. A. Sami. The film script were written by Kalaignanam. Music by V. Kumar assets to the movie. The film starring R. Muthuraman and Jayalalitha played lead with K. A. Thangavelu, Sachu, Sreekanth Suruli Rajan and V. S. Raghavan played portraying supporting role.[1][2][3]This film was remade in Telugu as Sita Ramulu in 1980 and in Hindi as Haisiyat in 1984.
