Kabyawan Festival

The Kabyawan Festival[1] is a week long festival celebrated in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, starting May 8, until May 16.every year. The festival showcase the products and local delicacies of the town. The first day of festival proceed with a Holy mass in Cathedral. Fun-run and bike-a-thon. Street dancing, mass demonstration, cultural dancing, dart and poster making are events in the other day. Parangal sa mga natatanging anak ng Kabyaw,Mutya ng Cabiao talent competition and May flower parade followed by the Coronation night of Mutya ng Cabiao is the highlight of the said festival.Grand parade before last two days entertained the long strips of Jose Abad Santos Avenue. The last day of the said event is the Kabyawenyos night.[2]
