KLAQ (95.5 FM), known as "The Q 95.5", is a mainstream rock radio station based in El Paso, Texas. The station is under ownership of Townsquare Media.
KLAQ is the largest radio station in El Paso audience-wise, according to the Nielsen Audio winter 2018 ratings. The station is generally known as a promoter and catalyst of the largest events and entertainment in El Paso. The station is home to Buzz Adams' morning show.
History
KLAQ began operations in 1978, coming to replace El Paso's previous rock station, KPAS 94FM (93.9), which changed formats in late 1981 due to mismanagement.
