The station is owned by the University of Southern California, and is a repeater of KUSC and their classical music format. KDSC competes for the K216FM signal on 91.1 on Los Angeles' west-side which rebroadcasts KKLQ (FM), the Los Angeles affiliate for Contemporary Christian K-LOVE.[1]
