Juupajoki is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The municipality has a population of 1,922 (31 August 2017)[2] and covers an area of 274.95 square kilometres (106.16 sq mi) of which 16.47 km2 (6.36 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 7.44 inhabitants per square kilometre (19.3/sq mi).
Neighbouring municipalities are Jämsä, Mänttä-Vilppula, Orivesi and Ruovesi.
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
