Juhi Rustagi is an Indian television actress who works in the Malayalam television industry. She is known for her role as Lachu in the comedy sitcom Uppum Mulakum on Flowers TV.[2]

Early life

Rustagi was born on 10 July 1998 in Jaipur, Rajasthan,[1] as the daughter of the late Reghuvir Saran, a Rajasthani, and Bhagyalakshmi, a Malayali from Ernakulam. She was raised in Ernakulam, where they moved while she was a toddler and where her mother hails from. Rustagi took part in various competitions at the state level as a student. She learned classical dance from Kerala Kalamandalam.

"Rustagi" is a caste name similar to Nair, Menon, or Pillai. Her father died in 2011.

Career

Rustagi started her career in 2014. She came into the limelight when the comedy show Uppum Mulakum began. The show quickly became the most popular one in Kerala. The show has had 667 episodes as of 21 August 2018. Apart from acting, Rustagi has appeared in advertisements and stage shows.
