John Jenyns
John Jenyns (c. 1660 – 1717), of Hayes and Bedford Row, St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, was an English politician.[1]
He was the eldest son of Roger Jenyns of Hayes and the brother of Sir Roger Jenyns. He succeeded his father to the manor of Hayes and as Surveyor General of the Fens, a post he then held for 20 years.
He was a Member (MP) of the Parliament of Great Britain for Cambridgeshire 1710 – 1 February 1717.
He married Jane, the daughter of James Clitherow of Boston House and had three sons.
