The Jin River is a left-bank tributary of the Xiang River located in Changsha, Hunan Province.

Geography

The Jin begins in Zifu Town, is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long, and drains a basin of 407.5 square kilometres (157.3 sq mi). It is the third largest river in Ningxiang City and one of the largest tributaries of the Xiang River.[1]

The Jin River has 10 main tributaries, such as Huoshan (火扇), Shiban (石板), Shili (石立), and Lijiaba (李家坝).The river passes places such as Datunying Township, Daolin Town, Yutan Town, and Xiangtan City, and empties into the Xiang River in Wangcheng District.[1]
