Jillian Broadbent

Jillian Broadbent AO (born 1948) is an Australian public figure and businesswoman.

Early life

She graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics and Mathematics from the University of Sydney.[1]

Career

Broadbent is a Member of the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Chair of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Chancellor of the University of Wollongong. She also has been a Director of the Australian Securities Exchange, Special Broadcasting Service and Qantas.[1] Prior to this, Broadbent spent 30 years in Banking in Australia and overseas, most recently as a senior executive and departmental head at Bankers Trust Australia.[2]

Awards and honours

In 2003, Broadbent was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia for service to economic and financial development of Australia.[1]
