Jean-Paul Nomel (born 23 June 1988 in Ivory Coast) is an Ivorian footballer who is last known to have played for St. George's of the Maltese Second Division.

Career

Hungary

Added to Szeged 2011 of the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság III, Nomel was indoctrinated into believing he could achieve by Szeged coach Major László[1] who described him as physical and good with the head, but needed to improve on positioning.[8] Intending to reach the higher levels of Hungarian football,[8] he reinforced BFC Siófok for 2011[9] until being let go mid-year[10] and reuniting with Szeged.[11]

Unable to speak Hungarian, he communicated in English and French throughout his stay in Hungary.[8]

Germany

A newcomer at SVN Zweibrücken near the end of 2008,[12] the Ivorian went back to Germany with FC Neuruhrort in 2013,[13] completing a move to ASV Neumarkt mid-season[14] before being let go a year later.[15]

Luxembourg

Reinforcing US Hostert of the Luxembourg National Division for the second half of 2014/15.[16]

Personal life

Supporting Chelsea and looking up to Emmanuel Adebayor, his father had not wanted him to pursue a career in football, explaining that it was not a job.[1]
