Jayson Mansaray (born 17 August 1987) is an Australian-born British broadcast journalist was an intern on RT's (Russia Today TV) travel show - Russia's Golden Ring: A Tour In Time, Dotun Adebayo's programme on BBC London 94.9, and currently presents the lunch programme on 91.8 Hayes FM Mondays to Thursdays from 11:00am to 14:00pm.[1]

Early life

Mansaray was brought up in Sassafras, subsequently living in Rhodes, Greece and Gokava, Turkey, before settling in Daylesford. Early work and career included working as a tour guide at Uluru, a croupier, a waiter, a life model, and an Account Executive in PR.

Jayson attended Southern Cross University as an undergraduate and graduated from London College of Communication with a post-graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism in 2010.

Radio

Mansaray's first taste of media was working for lifestyle publication Have a Go news in Perth, Western Australia and subsequently its sister television programme HAG TV. After moving to London in 2007, Mansaray worked in public relations for two years at tta group (a Chime Communications group company) before applying for post-graduate studies. After receiving a Bloomberg bursary, Mansaray secured work experience at BBC London 94.9, ITV London Tonight, and RT, eventually getting freelance shifts with Sky News.

Whilst on his month placement with RT International (Russia Today TV ), Mansaray reported on racism in Moscow for Dotun Adebayo.

Personal life

Jayson is frequently seen out in East London. Currently, he is living in Camden. He is friends with fashion consultant Lela London[2]
