Jann-Fiete Arp (born 6 January 2000) is a German footballer who plays as a forward for 2. Bundesliga side Hamburger SV and has also played for Germany U17's.[2]
Club career
Arp had his debut for Hamburger SV in the Nordderby against rivals Werder Bremen, coming on as an 89th-minute substitute for Bobby Wood.[3] This made him the first Bundesliga player born in the 2000s.[4]
On 28 October 2017, Arp scored his first Bundesliga goal against Hertha BSC.[5] Thus, he is also the first Bundesliga player born in the 2000s who scored.[4]
International career
Arp was part of the German under-17 team, scoring seven goals in the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[6]
Later that year, Arp played in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he scored five goals.[7]
