Jang Hyun-soo (Hangul: 장현수; Korean pronunciation: [tɕɐŋ.çʌn.su]; born 28 September 1991) is a South Korean football player who currently plays for FC Tokyo.

Club career

In January 2012, Jang Hyun-soo signed a new contract with FC Tokyo. Then, in January 2014, He signed a new contract with Guangzhou R&F FC in China. After, He returned to Tokyo FC in July 2017.

International career

In May 2018 he was named in South Korea's preliminary 28 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Jang failed to keep the South Korean team from losing 2 of 3 critical games due to his missed passes and lack of judgment during critical defensive moments. Jang allowed 3 (1 from Sweden and 2 from Mexico) goals.[2]
