Ivory Tower SASU is a French video game developer based in Lyon.

History

Ivory Tower was founded on 31 October 2007 by Ahmed Boukhelifa, Stéphane Beley and Emmanuel Oualid.[1] All three founders were previously employed by Eden Games.[2] Ivory Tower's first game, The Crew, was announced through its publisher, Ubisoft, in June 2013,[3] and released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in December 2014.[4] On 5 October 2015, as The Crew reached 3 million players, Ubisoft announced that they had acquired Ivory Tower for an undisclosed sum.[5][6] At the time, the studio housed 100 employees.[7] Ivory Tower's second game, The Crew 2, was announced by Ubisoft in June 2017,[8] and released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One in June 2018.[9]
