Isaac Andrew Asiata (born December 29, 1992) was an American football offensive guard for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL).[1] He played college football at Utah.

College career

Asiata was a four-year starter at Utah, played in 45 games. He was a two time All conference selection and winner of the Morris Trophy, given to the best lineman in the Pac-12 in 2016. After the end of his collegiate career, he played in the Senior Bowl.

Asiata was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round, 164th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft.[3]

On September 1, 2018, Asiata was waived by the Dolphins and was signed to the practice squad the next day.[4][5]

Personal life

Isaac served a LDS mission. He is the cousin of NFL running back Matt Asiata.
