Irfan Jaya (born 1 May 1996)[2] is an Indonesian professional footballer who currently plays for Persebaya Surabaya in the Liga 1 as a winger.

Club career

On 2017, he signed a four-year contract with Persebaya Surabaya. He made his debut on 20 July 2017, coming on from the bench, when Persebaya won 1–0 over Madiun Putra at Wilis Stadium.

International Career

On 10 October 2018, Indonesian national team won 3-0 over Myanmar in the test match at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi, Wednesday night yesterday. Persebaya Surabaya attacker, Irfan Jaya, contributed two goals for the Garuda squad. The match is the first match of Irfan in the Senior National Team. Previously, the player born in Bantaeng, South Sulawesi only played at the U-23 national team level. Irfan scored two beautiful goals in the game. The first goal was obtained by Irfan after getting feedback from Alberto Goncalvez. Irfan who escaped from the defense of the opponent's back line immediately fired hard into the Myanmar goal.Irfan's second goal also occurred thanks to a slick collaboration with Goncalves. The Brazilian naturalized player kick hit the crossbar before falling to the feet of Irfan, who again escaped the defense of the opponent's back line.[3]
