Ioan Mang

Ioan Mang

Ioan Mang (Romanian pronunciation: [iˈo̯an maŋɡ]; born July 15, 1958) is a Romanian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party. Mang served as the Education Minister in Victor Ponta's cabinet, and as a professor of Computer Science at the University of Oradea.[1]

Academic misconduct controversy

On 10 May 2012, he was accused of plagiarism of many of his academic papers[1][2][3] and resigned on the 15th of May due to those plagiarism allegations.[3][4]
