Inter IKEA Holding S.A. (also known as Inter IKEA Group) is a holding company and is fully owned by Interogo Foundation. It owns Inter IKEA Systems B.V., registered in the Netherlands, and thereby controls the intellectual property of the IKEA. As Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, and his family control the Interogo Foundation brand, they also control Inter IKEA Holding S.A.[1][2]

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is a holding company and is fully owned by Inter IKEA Holding S.A. and thus Interogo Foundation. It is the company that legally owns all of the IKEA brand's intellectual properties (logo, word, trademarks etc.).[3] As Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, and his family control the Interogo Foundation brand, they also control Inter IKEA Systems B.V.[1] The company release guides and manuals of various parts of the IKEA brand. The company release news, training, program and various other types of manuals. It also does research about the market IKEA is in and release reports and tools to IKEA retailers. [4]. The company was incorporated in 1983, it is based in Netherlands.[4]

IKEA of Sweden A.B.

IKEA of Sweden A.B. is responsible for designing, developing and making home furnishing products for IKEA.[5] The company is based in Sweden. The company was founded in 1943.[6]

IKEA Supply A.G.

IKEA Supply A.G. is responsible for developing IKEA products to IKEA franchises, it owns my distribution centers around the world.[5] They are based in Switzerland.[7]

IKEA Industry A.B.

IKEA Industry A.B. produces 10-12% of the IKEA range of products. The company mostly focuses on wooden furniture.[5] They were founded in 1991 as Swedwood International AB. The companies name was changed from Swedwood International AB to IKEA Industry A.B. in September 2013. The company has always been based in Sweden.[8]
