Hyderabad Industries Limited

HIL Limited formerly known as Hyderabad Industries Limited is a flagship group company of CK Birla Group. They are into construction materials, machinery, industrial supplies and components; logistics network[1][2][3] It has two super brands - Charminar and Birla Aerocon which lead the market in their respective segments.

History

It was established in the Princely state of Hyderabad on 17 June 1946 as Hyderabad Asbestos. It was primarily into cement sheets. But was renamed as Hyderabad Industries later. The company has partner with the leading team of IPL - Chennai Super Kings in the year 2018 to be one of their lead sponsors. This marketing investment showcases the trust company has in its future growth.
