Hradaspur is a village in Phagwara Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from Kapurthala, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Phagwara. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India). [2]

Demography

According to the report published by Census India in 2011, Hradaspur has 328 houses with the total population of 1,472 persons of which 711 are male and 761 females. Literacy rate of Hradaspur is 83.17%, higher than the state average of 75.84%. The population of children in the age group 0–6 years is 159 which is 10.80% of the total population. Child sex ratio is approximately 1208, higher than the state average of 846.[3]
