Henry Patteson Staniforth was a British politician who served as Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace for the county of Norwich.
Early life
Staniforth was the son of Mayor of Norwich John Staniforth Patteson and Ann Elizabeth Tasker, and the grandson of politician John Patteson and Elizabeth Staniforth.[1]
Henry served in the military, and achieved the rank of Lieutenant colonel of the Royal Norfolk Regiment. He was also Captain of the 2nd Company Norfolk Rifle Volunteers.[2][3]
Henry Staniforth Patteson passed away in 1898.
