Hemidactylus boavistensis, also known as Boa Vista leaf-toed gecko, is a species of gecko in the family Gekkonidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands. It has been found on the islands of Boa Vista and Sal and the islets of Curral Velho and Sal Rei.[2] It has long been considered a subspecies of Hemidactylus bouvieri.[2][1] The specific name, boavistensis, refers to the island Boa Vista.
