He Yingying (born January 28, 1995), is a Mediacorp actress.
Career
2015: Hey Gorgeous
Yingying was discovered by Mediacorp Hey Gorgeous, a talent scouting competition, during her university days in 2015. She made it into the finals and even came in 2nd among the many contestants in the competition. Her brilliant and attractive smile managed to catch the attention of the audiences and successful clinched the London Choco Roll Best Smile Award. She has a fan club called Yingfinity.
2016: Entry to Mediacorp
In 2016, she started off her acting career, starring as the main cast of toggle original series, Run Rachel Run.[1] Yingying has also filmed some TV series, such as Eat Already? [2] despite being a non dialect speaker and Hero that gained her first nomination for Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes in Star Awards 2017.
2017: Best Newcomer Award Nomination
In 2017, she had filmed dramas like The Lead and 118 II where she plays a worker in a coffeeshop that has landed her a nomination for Best Newcomer in Star Awards 2018.
2018: First Leading Role
In 2018, she wrapped up her filming for 118 Reunion, Eat Already? 4 & A Million Dollar Dream. Through her improvements, she landed herself a first lead show in both toggle original Chinese series, A Lonely Fish and Dream Walker. She is currently filming a long form drama called Reach For The Skies.
Personal life
Ying Ying was educated at Anderson Junior College before she finished her studies at the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts (Communications and New Media). [3]
