Hazza Al Mansouri

Hazza Al Mansouri (Hazaa Ali Abdan Khalfan Al Mansouri) is an Emirati astronaut from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre. His background is military pilot in the United Arab Emirates Air Force.

The selection of the two Emirati astronauts was announced on September 3, 2018. One of them will fly to the International Space Station on board Soyuz MS-12 and land on board Soyuz MS-10 in 2019.[1]

Biography

He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Science and Military Aviation from the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College, which is located at the Al Ain International Airport in Al Ain. He has 14 years of military aviation experience, and has completed training inside and outside the UAE. Al Mansouri piloted an F-16E/F Block 60 Desert Falcon.
