Hate Story is a series of Indian erotic thriller films, produced by Vikram Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar under the banner BVG Films and T-Series. The first film was released in 2012 is directed by Vivek Agnihotri,[1][2][3][4] the second film released in 2014 is directed by Vishal Pandya[5][6][7] and the third film which is also directed by Vishal Pandya was released on 4 December 2015.[8][9][10][11] fourth film released in 9 March 2018. Hate Story 3 till date is the most successful film in the franchise[12]

With the success of Hate Story 2, producer Bhushan Kumar signed director Vishal Pandya signed a three-picture deal with T-Series Studios.[13] Early casting included actor Sharman Joshi, but he was replaced by Gurmeet Choudhary for a brief period of time[14] due to conflicts with Joshi's schedule.[15] 26 February 2015, Joshi reported that he was prepared for scenes where he would be nude,[16] and on 1 March, he reported that he was enjoying shooting his explicit scenes.[17] Actress Daisy Shah was brought aboard the project through Salman Khan's insistence that producer Bhushan Kumar speak with her about joining the project.[18] Filming ended on 16 October
Puja Gupta was roped in to do a special song 'Neendein Khul Jaati Hain' in the film.[19] It was shot in October 2015.[20][21]
Hate Story 4 (2018)
Principal photography commenced in London in September 2017. The film is set to be released on 9 March 2018 and stars Karan Wahi, Urvashi Rautela and Ihana Dhillon.[22]
