Harrisburg Hospital

Harrisburg Hospital is a 400-bed urban community hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, serving as the primary hospital for the also Harrisburg-based UPMC Pinnacle system, a primary chain of hospitals and clinics serving South Central Pennsylvania[1] and part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) system.[2] The hospital is a teaching facility providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. Specialties include women’s health, cardiovascular care and orthopedic, stroke, and rehabilitative services. Physician residency programs exist on-site for family practice, internal medicine, emergency medicine and surgery.[3]
