Hania Amir is a Pakistani actress known for her roles in Pakistani Films and Urdu Television. She made her film debut with Janaan for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at Lux Style Awards.

Career

While studying at the Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST-NUCES), Amir made several dubsmash videos and uploaded them on the internet which got the attention of the producer Imran Kazmi, who later cast her in a supporting role in the romantic comedy Janaan (2016)a role which earned her a Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination.[1][2] Amir appeared in commercials for companies such as Sunsilk and Nestle after her appearance in Janaan in 2016.[3]

She rose to prominence with the role of an beauty-obsessed unfaithful wife in the Urdu 1's romantic television series Titli (2017), that was loosely inspired from the novel Beauty and the Beast and a girl next door in the ARY Digital's melodrama Visaal (2018).[4][5] Amir appeared as the female lead in the films Na Maloom Afraad 2 and Parwaaz Hai Junoon in 2018.
