Hamelin Station
Hamelin Station (also known as Hamelin Pool Station) was a pastoral lease in Western Australia and as of 2015 is now known as Hamelin Station reserve and is now owned by Bush Heritage Australia.[1]
It is located at the south eastern side of the Shark Bay World Heritage area. It is also the location of the Shark Bay stromatolites.[1] The property occupies an area of 202,000 hectares (499,153 acres) including 32 kilometres (20 mi) of coastline.[2]
Sheep station
It has been a sheep grazing station.[3][4] In 1884 the section of telegraph line to Roebourne that passed through the property had been completed.[5]
