Hajjah (Arabic: حجة Ḥaǧǧa) is a governorate of Yemen. Bordered by the Red Sea, it has its capital in Hajjah.

Overview

Claims have been made that this region along with Sa'dah and Al Hudaydah legally belong to Saudi Arabia due to irregularities in the Treaty of Taif and the fact that it was once part of Asir that was once conquered by the Saudi's in the early 1920s.[2]
