Hafiz Rashid Khan (Bengali: হাফিজ রশিদ খান, born June 23, 1961[1]) is a Bangladeshi postcolonialist poet, author,[2] editor and journalist. He wrote more than twenty titles including poetry and criticism. He is known for his postcolonialism, anti-military voice and was reputed for working in tribal area at Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh. In his twenty one years old his first book of poems was published in 1982.[3]
Biography
Hafiz was born in Banshkhali in Chittagong. He earned a BA degree from University of Chittagong. He currently served as a journalist at the local daily news paper Suprobhat Bangladesh in Chittagong. In 1982 he was published his first poetry Jostna Kemon Phutechhe.[3]
Personal life
In 1925 Hafiz married with Milattunnesa Khanom. They have two daughters Naisa Hafiz Khan and Raisa Hafiz Khan.[4]
