Phyla

Gnathifera, from the Greek gnathos, “jaw”, and the Latin fera, “to bear,” is an assemblage of phyla of platyzoans comprising the rotifers (Bdelloidea, Monogononta, Seisonidae), acanthocephalans, and gnathostomulids.[1] Also included is the Micrognathozoa,[2] and tentatively the Cycliophora.[2]

"Acanthognatha" is a similar grouping, with the addition of the gastrotrichs.[3]
