Central Jamia Mosque Ghamkol Sharif is a Sufi mosque in Small Heath area of Birmingham, England.
The organization, 'Muslims in Britain'[2] classify the Ghamkol Shariff Masjid as, Sufi - Bareilvi.[1]
Construction began on 15 March 1992 in the holy month of Ramadan.[3] Each night throughout its construction, a hafiz recited the Quran on the construction site.[3] Building work was completed in 1996, and upon completion, it was one of the largest mosques in the country. It can fit up to 5,000 people at one time.[3]
